Being as a parent, you can do so much more to help encourage your kids to develop reading skills. You can start reading to your kids at an early age. Even babies are very curious with colors, and they love to look at different pictures.
As for kids who already know how to read by themselves, choose a book that is higher than their reading level, and keep reading to your kids in a weekly basis to enhance their reading skills.
You can also get good advice from teachers and librarians about children’s book. They can provide you with a lot of resources about children’s books.
