More in Games, Babies

Well,  here are some of Mommiesville baby shower party game ideas:

The Belly Ribbon Game

  • You will need a spool of ribbons, either pink or blue (whichever color you like) and a scissor. Pass out the spool of ribbons, scissor to your family & friends. Have your  guests cut the amount  of  ribbon that they believe can go around your belly without having your guests come to you and measure you (no cheating). Whoever gets the closest measurement of your belly wins a prize! My family and friends actually played this game on my baby shower two years ago and it was so much fun!

Pregnancy Words Unscramble

  • You will need your party host to prepare pen, timer and  paper with twenty or more words relating to pregnancy such as, bottle, baby bouncer, swing, car seat  and have the words scrambled up (ex: elttob - bottle). Pass out the pen, paper to all your family, friends and timed your guests how fast they can unscramble the words. Whoever gets the most correct and fastest time to unscramble the words wins a prize! You'll have a blast on this one!

Baby Bottle Drinking Contest

  • You will need either a 4 ounce or an 8 ounce baby bottle and apple juice or other flavored drink (it’s up to you how much you want). Pass out the baby bottles to your contestants and whoever sucks all of the juice the fastest from the bottle wins the game! Remember, your contestants are only allowed to suck from the nipple; they cannot open the bottle and drink from it... That will be cheating!

Guess The Baby Bottle

  • You will need to go to a party supply store in your area and purchase an empty plastic baby bottle ( a size of a 2 litter soda) and fill it to the top with varieties of sweets (candies, whichever you like). Make sure you know how much candies are in the bottle and write it down so you don't forget. When your baby shower party begins, put an empty container next to the baby bottle filled with sweets. Have your family, friends write it on a piece of paper how much total of sweets they think is in the baby bottle and drop it in the empty container. By the end of the party, go through the container and check who guessed the right amount of sweets or the closest one wins and the person takes the baby bottle home!

As for the game prizes for your game contests, I would suggest to give out gift cards to your winners this will give them the freedom to get what they like at a limited amount and instead of purchasing something from the store and feeling unsure if they like it or not.

Also, for your food for your party, if you are not sure what to serve you can always go for pot luck... This will actually save you money if you are concerned about the costs. If not then you can have it catered from your local favorite restaurant or you can purchase the food and ingredients at your local grocers to cook at home.

 Baby Shower Candle Tin Favors

  • Celebrate your future arrival with our exclusive Baby Shower Candle Tin Favors. Each candle tin is decorated with your choice of 8 adorable baby designs. The design features the mommy-to-be's name along with any date - choose to include the date of the shower or the baby's expected due date.     Each 6 oz. all natural soy candle produces a lovely French vanilla scent. The fragrant scent lasts an amazingly long 36 hours.
